MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGE AMBASSADOR
In year 10, I was the Modern Foreign Language Ambassador for KS3 students
- I taught the year 7 students the formation of the present tense of ‘-er’ verbs in French and how to use them in sentences, explaining them with questions if they didn’t understand a particular thing; we also went through questions together to help them understand the topic with more clarity.
- I helped to raise awareness of the importance of languages by interviewing students and staff around the school who are bilingual.
- I also represented the Modern Foreign Language Ambassador Team in the end of term 1 team, and gave a speech on the successes of the term.
HEAD OF YEAR AWARD
Received the Head of Year Award in Year 10 for valuable contribution to the school community and exceeding my teachers' expectations.
HARVARD YOUTH LEAD THE CHANGE CONFERENCE
In January 2019, I participated in the Harvard Youth Lead the Change Conference. During this conference, I collaborated with a group of students and presented our research on Healthcare Inequality.
HEAD OF YEAR 10 AWARD FOR AGILITY
I received the Head of Year 10 Award for Agility for being flexible with my learning. I had given an interview about medicine at Crucial Choice and was quite involved with researching things related to medicine.
